The start of a new year is a great time to incorporate new habits, such as dance, into your daily life! Ariel will be teaching tap dance at the CFPA in Minneapolis and Lucy will teach ballet, virtually.

Sundays, 1 - 2:15 pm; January 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th - 2026

Cost: $15 per class (recommended to attend all four!)

Bio: Hi, my name is Ariel Edwards and I am a senior Dance major on the Pre-Med track at St. Olaf College. I grew up tapping since I was three, and have taken a number of master classes with well-known tappers today. Sharing my love for tap with young dancers will be a delight, as we explore basic steps and put them into our own combination!

Ballet with Lucy

Beginning Ballet for All Ages

Virtual

Mondays and Wednesdays, 6:30 - 7:15 pm starting January 5th, 2026

Cost: $10 per class or $20 per month/household (encouraged to take one/week or more)

Bio: Growing up learning basic ballet, Lucy developed her love and knowledge of the form at UW-Madison, the American Dance Festival, & at Mills College with Sonya Delwaide where she solidified her technique, leading her to increase her training at Steps on Broadway with Robbie Fairchild, Espen Gijanes, Nancy Bielski and others. Recently, she was a guest teacher at Dance Project of Washington Heights, Waldwick School of Ballet, Spotlight Dance Conservatory and Norwalk Academy of Dance.
